Georgina,Dave,Evie,Charlie,Tilly,Danny and me all went back up Delphies Bridge on Saturday Jess was working and Alfie was away for the weekend at Beaver Camp....he Loved it BTW The plan is to get 4/5 or maybe 6 stones from the places that you loved dearly and that hold special memories for you,and make that marker / Cairn for you We got a wonderful base stone right alongside the dam you rebuilt a few times over the years, it was almost the easiest on the moor to pick up so I bet you made it easy for us to find It was so so windy tho and we had a plan to take tea n cakes and boil a kettle up while we were there but then I remembered how we loved the other end of that river that place that is much smaller than Delphies so we drove round there to check it out and it was much more sheltered, Georgina and Dave were absolutely struck with it and started planning right away a camping trip or daycation with a whole tribe of us Do you remember we talked about camping but were reluctant because a house overlooked it and after getting told off by plod last year for camping it made us fraid and we kept on looking for somewhere more remote well me and George didnt hang about and knocked on farmhouse door and asked if they minded and dear old lady said she was more than happy for people to enjoy the outdoors G was deeeelighted and right away took photos which she put on FB and it didnt take long for a big gang to say yeah count me in.....Nelly well up for it because he loves a fire!!!! All this is planned for later in July I really hope we get some decent weather otherwise it's gonna be a non starter Again another great day to be had with you missing....can't tell you how much I miss you Will keep you up to date with more news soon Sleep Tight my angel xxxxx
